Sociologist's AIDS Network

Students doing research on AIDS-related topics often have difficulty finding faculty mentors who understand and are interested in their topics.  SAN members experienced with a variety of types of HIV/AIDS research are available to serve as mentors to graduate or undergraduate students working in this area.

If you are a student in need of mentoring, or a faculty member looking for an HIV/AIDS researcher to help mentor a student, please e-mail the Program Coordinator Howard Lune (hlune [at] hunter.cuny.edu) to be assigned a mentor.  Please include contact information and a brief summary of the student's research in your email.  SAN members willing to be added to the list of informal student mentors should contact Howard as well.
